My husband, Christian, and I are self-proclaimed foodies. And by that I mean that we like to eat. Scratch that….we love to eat.
Christian and I had a chance a day off from the kids recently and around 1 pm, we both looked at each other and realized we hadn’t eaten lunch – which explained the rumbles coming from our tummies. We were in the area, so we decided to have lunch at the new (ish) Bonefish Grill located at University Station in Westwood, MA. This is only our second time dining at the Bonefish Grill and since the last time we went was for brunch, we decided to go for lunch this time so that we could try out their new seasonal summer menu.
The wood-grilled fresh fish experts at Bonefish Grill launched their new seasonal menu last month and it features delights like fresh, hand-cut simply grilled Wild Salmon, Rockfish with Citrus Aioli + Shrimp topping and Dayboat Scallops — sushi grade George’s Bank scallops on a bed of creamy corn risotto topped with crispy bacon, lemon butter drizzle and green beans.
Pretty much everything on their menu pairs really well with Bonefish Grill’s handcrafted seasonal cocktails – a Strawberry Ros? Martini or Fresh Watermelon Martini, featuring refreshing hand-muddled watermelon, fresh sour mix and house-made English cucumber vodka infusion, garnished with frozen watermelon cubes.
I tried one and it was fantastic.
The new seasonal menu is full of fresh and innovative dishes and their menu specializes in seasonal fresh fish. Taste today’s fresh catch and try something new for your dinner tonight. Start off your meal with some delicious Bacon Wrapped Scallops (starter) and enjoy one of these three scrumptious entrees: Wild Salmon with Spinach, Bacon & Blue Cheese, Kate’s Wild North Atlantic Haddock or Lobster Stuffed Shrimp.
My husband ended up ordering the Bang Bang Shrimp(R) Tacos and loved them.
And don’t worry; if you’re not a seafood fan, there are beef, chicken, and all-veggie options. I’m not a seafood eater myself, so I had the Half-Pound American Kobe Beef Burger and loved every bite of it.
Oh, and did I mention that they have an awesome dessert menu? Because Key Lime Pie is my all time favorite pie and it’s surprisingly hard to find around here, when I saw it on the menu I knew I had to have it. Because Christian and I were both stuffed from our meals, we split a piece, but if I had more room I would have ordered my own.
All of the food we had at Bonefish Grill was delicious. On top of the food being delicious, we found the prices to be very reasonable as well. Bonefish Grill is a great restaurant to stop into for a casual meal or a special night out. Don’t miss out, head on over to your local Bonefish Grill and check out their new seasonal summer menu for yourself.
